Job Overview
Framaco International is currently searching for a qualified Construction Project Manager with significant experience on overseas construction projects. Provides overall direction and management of  US Embassy Compound construction projects overseas; organizes and directs on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations; and monitors risks/problems and helps develop options to resolve them. Reviews plans and other technical documents, answers questions regarding the scope and/or timing of the project, and monitors costs and project according to contract requirements, completing administrative documentation on time, and cultivating customer satisfaction with the client, all in alignment with Framaco’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
The Construction Project Manager is responsible to direct subcontractors, cleared American Workers, local national, third country nationals, in the execution of project requirements.
The position will manage the Framaco project site office.  There will be coordination with the Framaco home office project support team. The individual selected will be required to reside overseas for extended periods of time.  
Roles and Responsibilities
  • The Construction Project Manager will serve as the company’s direct representative in the overall management and execution of complex projects and day-to-day project-oriented work efforts in order to meet project schedule and budget objectives. Responsibilities of this dynamic role include sub-contract management and the ability to integrate with Framaco as the existing prime contractor.
  • Successful candidate must have experience working on large, complex embassy projects. The successful candidate must have the ability to interface with a multi-discipline, multi-cultural team. This individual must have previous experience in planning, developing, producing successful project delivery on similar classified construction projects.
  • Will need to work with the home office construction manager to deliver resources to meet the project schedule and budget. Must have the knowledge and skills to understand Department of State requirements contracts and to execute the project.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Ten (10) years knowledge and experience as a Project Manager executing similar size projects (At least $100M in size).
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science/Technology.
  • Understanding and knowledge of pertinent federal laws, codes and regulations.
  • Experience with all aspects of Design/Bid/Build contract execution of construction projects supporting U.S. Government Agencies including Overseas Building Operations (OBO) and/or US Army Corps of Engineers.
  • Managing multiple, high-priority assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships with civilian and military personnel and other decision-makers.
  • Provide effective supervision or management of Contractor personnel if required.
  • Audit projects effectively and inform the COR if deadlines are in peril.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to gather relevant information to solve less well-defined planning problems.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Respond to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required.
