Framaco International is currently searching for a qualified Construction Electrical Superintendent with significant experience on overseas construction projects. Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Electrical Superintendent provides technical support to construction staff, Supervises the field installation and construction of all electrical systems included in the project,  Assists in the material procurement, planning and scheduling of the works staying within budget and to the quality specified., Prepares construction and installation BOM and Purchase Requisitions, all in alignment with Framaco’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

The position will support Framaco project site office and will act as the lead coordinator with home office project support actions. The individual selected will be required to travel overseas for extended periods of time. Minimum 5 yrs. experience with construction projects supporting U.S. Government Agencies such as US Army Corps of Engineers and/or Overseas Building Operations (OBO) is required.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Plan and review the project work with Project Management team
  • Provide input on jobsite logistics, organization, plant layout, coordination of all electrical  equipment for all trades and manpower utilization.
  • Prepare work schedules and keep them updated.
  • Prepare BOM, and purchase requisitions.
  • Review material and purchase orders.
  • Assist the PM in scheduling and expediting the delivery of materials and equipment for their timely on-site delivery.
  • Coordinate the electrical works on site with the activities of inspection agencies as necessary through installation, testing, commissioning, handover and acceptance phases.
  • Assist in securing all equipment guarantees, warranties and service/maintenance agreements.
  • Handle job labor relations
  • Coordinate with other project trades superintendents.
  • Assist the Project Manager in establishing and maintaining good safety and security practices for the entire project in accordance with TCCO safety program.
  • Keep Supervisors informed as to changes made in the field, so that such changes may be covered by general contact change orders and subcontract change orders.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Qualified applicants must have a minimum 4 years of supervisory field experience, performing and supervising building electrical systems and equipment
  • Must have knowledge, skill, and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, materials, finishes, etc.).
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel & Internet Explorer
    • Must possess strong organizational skills.
    • Must display strong written and oral communication skills and employ effective listening skills.
    • Interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with multicultural teams.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels within a government organization.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced, stressful environment.
  • 4-yr college degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum of US Secret clearance
